Hutchinson Joins First National Bank as Chief Credit Officer

Bellevue, Ohio –  Dean Miller, President and CEO of First National Bank announces that Ralph Hutchinson has joined the Senior Management Team as the Senior Vice President / Chief Credit Officer.

“Ralph’s background of regulatory experience along with the credit focused work he was doing in the banking arena will bring us a unique skillset to our management team.” said Dean J. Miller, President and CEO.

Ralph’s early career was spent as a bank Regulator for the Ohio Division of Banks out of Findlay and Akron, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (US Treasury) out of Los Angeles, Boston and New York, and Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.  Significant focus was on Commercial Lending, Asset Quality, Credit Risk Management, Credit Administration, and Compliance.

After 10 years working for Government Regulatory Agencies, he worked for California community banks in Napa California in Credit Administration and Sacramento as Chief Credit Officer, and a large regional bank in Los Angeles writing Credit Policy for 7 years.  Ralph also operated his own bank consulting advisory service for 15 years. He provided solutions for dozens of banks across the country, typically in areas where there were regulatory or audit concerns.

Hutchinson is the proud father of two high school age children. He enjoys sailing, music and volunteering for humanitarian causes including mentoring at risk children and under-served people groups.
