Benavides Joins First National Bank as Chief Lending Officer

Bellevue, Ohio –   Dean Miller, President and CEO of First National Bank announces that David Benavides has joined the Senior Management Team as the Senior Vice President / Chief Lending Officer.

“David brings a strong background in commercial and residential lending with customer focused service levels. His addition to our team will allow us to continue on a path of serving the lending needs of clients and prospects in our market area. Also, his leadership experience will fit nicely as we develop a level of mid-range staff to take us into the future.” said Dean J. Miller, President and CEO.

Benavides started his banking career with Farm Credit Mid-America in 2000 and worked his way up to Regional Vice President. Most recently, Benavides worked for a mid sized regional bank as Market President for over 5 years. During this time, working at both large and small financial institutions, Benavides focused and enhanced his skills and efforts on helping local farmers and businesses with the financial services they need to succeed.

Benavides received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State and is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI. David currently resides in Aurora, OH with plans to move to the area soon. He and his spouse will celebrate 25 years of marriage this September and currently have one child that is enrolled at the University of Cincinnati as a freshman.  On his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising and golfing.
